My persistence yields insight, which I like to share by blogging and contributing to open-source. I’m a writer for the Hacker Noon publication on Medium, where I’ve garnered over 100K views, and I’ve contributed to several popular open-source projects. I’m a top contributor on Stack Overflow (top 8% in 2018) and have been assessed as a JavaScript “expert” (95th percentile). I also know Python, Ruby, and Swift.
PROJECTS
“My Sweet Config” is an extension of my command-line app (“Ballin Scripts”), which backs up your dev environment to a gist, into a React/Express.js web app that displays those files. I’m most proud of the app’s security, form validation, error handling, and test coverage. My prior project was an Augmented Reality iOS game (“AR Beer Pong”), written in Swift.
